When we’re practicing a guided meditation, there are many things that can arise in awareness. We, the subject, will often shift our attention to each thing that arises: thoughts, feelings, body sensations, and moods. With self-inquiry however, we can turn our attention to what is doing the observing. Turning attention and awareness on itself. In this guided meditation for self-inquiry, you’ll be invited to explore the true nature of consciousness. You may think it is “I” or “me” who is observing the contents of consciousness. But through this self-inquiry meditation, we will attempt to look for this “I” or “me” and see what we find.
