Today on the podcast we discuss Guy Fawkes Day and treason, sedition. Guy Fawkes day is a British holiday that commemorates the foiling of the Gunpowder Plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament in 1605. The plot was hatched by a group of Catholic dissidents led by Guy Fawkes. While it's celebrated as a holiday today, at the time it was considered an act of treason. We'll be discussing what constitutes treason, sedition and subversive activities, as well as some famous examples throughout history. Stay tuned!
