On this episode of HCP Larry and Drew welcome veteran Contemporary Christian Music artist Ginny Owens to discuss her story and leadership lessons learned in the church.  Ginny lost her eyesight early in life, but that has not slowed her down one bit. She has written and performed Christian music for the last 20 years on the road and releasing music to CCM radio.

We asked Ginny to tell us what her experience been like in the church as someone with disabilities and what we can learn from her perspective. She also shared with us how to honor and receive persons with disabilities in our churches.

Ginny just released a new book called “Singing in the Darkness” and an EP of songs for each chapter of the book. She shares about our need for creativity in the church and releasing the giftings of creative people in the church to share the love of Jesus with the staff and leadership.

Ginny shared one of her new songs with us on the podcast and it was a first for us, yet a beautiful and humbling moment.
