Heidi Thomas was one of the 60+ women who accused Bill Cosby of rape and sexual assault. She was also the 1st woman to stand on trial and tell her story against Cosby. Leah has also experienced a rape and sexual assault and we share incidents as well as inspiration and hope for the many others who have experienced the same.
Today we talk about Heidi's experience in how it happened, what she remembers and doesn't, and the ramifications of such an invasive trauma. ways she healed.
Being a musician and performer, Heidi realized later in life that it was in fact the connection to sound that helped her process emotions, find light within and carry on to become a wife, mother and business person. Leah is also a musician and while not a direct tool of her healing, resonates with the healing agent that various kinds of music and sound has provided for her healing as well.
