Heidi Tucker is an author, speaker, wife, mother and grandmother from Phoenix, Arizona. Heidi won a 2018 Illumination Award for her new release Servie’s Song. She also won a similar award for her first inspirational book Finding Hope in the Journey in 2017.  Her passion for writing and speaking about light and hope has inspired thousands. Heidi is known as a great storyteller who believes that every story not only teaches a gospel principle, but can make you feel it. She has inspired many to rise up, cling to their faith and position their hearts to recognize God’s hand in their life.  When Heidi isn’t writing her next book, or speaking at a conference, you’ll find her spending time outdoors with her husband, four grown children and eight grandchildren. She loves sunflowers, hiking and ice cream … not necessarily in that order.  On this Episode, Nate and Heidi discuss the inspiration behind her books (you will be blown away by her story) as well as some of life's difficulties including separation from loved ones and coming home early from an LDS mission.  They chat about the circumstances that led to her becoming a writer and speaker in the later stages of life and her writing process, as well as the incredible story that inspired her latest release Servie's Song. You can check out more from Heidi as well as buy her books from her website, thepickledsunflower.com
