I don’t know if you’ve heard, but demonic possession is a realproblem. So, we’ve contacted a horror movie EXPERT, Jack Densley, to help us dissectthe films “Hereditary” and, his specialty,  “The Exorcist” in order to survive this supernaturalcrisis. The discussion centres around the idea of the phrase “elevated horror”, which, while mildly insulted to the genre as a whole, does highlight how unique these movies are and the ways in which Ari Aster was inspired by William Friedkin’s classic genre-defining flick.
