When Jesus commissions his disciples to go and change the world, he does not leave them to do it alone. He sends Holy Spirit to empower them for the mission.

This message will remind you that the work of the Holy Spirit is vital to our walk as followers of Jesus. He has not given us a "hospital pass"; He has empowered us to do the work He has called us to do.

The Spirit-Filled Life is Love in Action. A life filled with the Holy Spirit means keeping love is central and loving our neighbour, especially the untouchable, the unlovable, the shunned, and the marginalised.

The Holy Spirit's work in our is both Inward Transformation and Outward Mission. On one side of the coin is inward work, producing the beautiful "fruit of the Spirit" such as love, joy, peace, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), confirming we are children of God (Romans 8:16), and reminding us that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19). On the other side of the coin is His outward mission of Matthew 28, which is to move as a people of his presence, with the power and authority of the Holy Spirit.
