“Honor thy Father and thy Mother” – it’s the 5th commandment. For some that’s a very easy challenge that doesn’t need a lot of explanation, for others it can seem like an impossible assignment.

For the ones who struggle, this commandment seems to provoke a lot of questions: What does honor even mean? Why should I? Whoever said this, obviously doesn’t know my mother or father?
