Hot beach summer

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial official start of summer. And after a year of being stuck inside, many Americans are ready to get out of the house. Very ready. They’re booking flights, renting cars, and snagging rental homes for the summer. While a rush of vaccinated Americans heading for the beach or a national park is good, will it be enough to jump-start the travel industry? Recode’s Rani Molla (@ranimolla) explains.
