This week the lads are joined by a true Freebooters legend - Jack Poyntz - a man who’s been part of the club for over two decades. He played for Freebooters for 20 years, with the highlight of his playing career coming in 2008 when he helped the team lift the Leinster Junior Cup. He also represented Ireland in 6 a side.
These days, he’s passing on his experience as manager of the Freebooters B team — but that’s not all. Off the pitch, he’s built a massive online following as the creator of a Manchester United community channel, launched in 2022 and now boasting over 80,000 followers across all platforms. Jack also had Man united daily - a podcast that is all things Man u and is a big part of the Community Radio Kilkenny City as one of the hosts of the soccer podcast.
