Today we are going to be talking about “Breaking free from culture to find our true identity in Christ.” In our culture today, it is very easy to get lost in all of the hustle and bustle of busyness, social media, comparison, and everything else vying for our attention. It’s so easy to get caught in the trap of seeking our worth, identity, and significance in the things of this world. It’s a dangerous cycle to look in these places to try to find security and approval. This cycle of finding our self-worth in the wrong places can have a domino effect on all areas of our lives and lead to pain, regret, shame, and feeling hopeless. But there is hope! There’s always hope when we know exactly where to find our true worth and security, and that is in Christ.
