Today was “The Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.” Not only is this a good thing to do—and not just once a year!—and not only does it expand our vision of what God is doing in the world, but it also invites us into following Jesus with lives “lived for the sake of The Name.”
If we do feel inspired to imitate our courageous brothers and sisters around the world, what does that mean? Very practically, How do we share our faith? The apostle Paul provides exactly this sort of practical, specific, counsel in Colossians 4:3-4 and Ephesians 6:19-20.
