For the last six years, I’ve worked for myself. The transition wasn’t planned, per se, but was long overdue.

I’d desired to do my own thing for such a long time but had allowed myself to get complacent because I had a “safe and secure” job.

There is no “safe and secure” when working for someone else. The sooner you realize that the better off your life will be.
