Should a book explain your products or tell stories? That's the question one of my CEO clients asked me recently. As a 2X bestselling author featured on BBC TV & Times Square and named a Top Consultant of the year by Product Marketing Alliance, here's my answer.


If your book reads like a product manual, your reader may suddenly remember they have laundry to fold.


A bestselling business book should not just list what you know. It should help your reader see themselves in the story.


Don’t just say, “Our platform improves efficiency.”


Say, “Imagine your team leaving work on time for once, and your CFO not fainting at the software bill.”


That is the difference between information and connection.


Your expertise matters. But your stories make people care. So go ahead - humanize your big idea.
