The Humboldt Education Foundation (HEF) in Prescott Valley, AZ is proud to be able to award quarterly teacher mini-grants to the teachers of HUSD. This past 2020-2021 school year HEF awarded over 15 grants to HUSD teachers totaling approximately ,000. Crystal Romney, a resource teacher at Lake Valley Elementary, applied for and received a teacher grant to purchase the MobyMax online application program. MobyMax is used in schools throughout the country as a tool to help close learning gaps for all students. Today this application is used in over 83% of K-8 public schools.
