Paul Coady was on the Carlow teams which contested the NHL 2A finals in 2017 and 2018. The county won Christy Ring and Joe McDonagh Cups in the same years and the Mount Leinster Rangers man played in all four games. 
He says he tries to park hurling while he is abroad but admits he doesn't do it very successfully. Passionate about the game, he does his own training  and looks forward to coming back to Carlow later in the year where he will resume his career. 
He says Carlow have had great managers in recent years and  Tom Mullally is a great motivator and coach who knows how to get the best out of his players.
