We bump into world-renowned 1960's music producer and hit maker Shel Talmy to talk about his work with the Easybeats and the little known story around the hit Friday on my mind.

​Shel Talmy is a producer best known for his work in 1960's England. Shel has worked with the Who, the Kinks and Beach Boys to mention a few. Shel's produced hits such as "You Really Got Me" by the Kinks, "My Generation" by the Who, and the focus of this episode "Friday on My Mind" by the Easybeats.

There is a little known story about the lead up to the world wide hit Friday on my mind, but even less is known about what happen to Shel after the song hit number 1.

This is Shel's story about his time with and after the Easybeats and the making of a would wide hit.
