A self-professed “non-profit nerd,” Jaime Hansen earned both her undergraduate degree in psychological sciences and master’s in public administration from Boise State University. Hansen has been working in Idaho’s community benefit sector for the last twenty years.

In 2015, she became the executive director of Family Advocates where she has led the organization in its mission of preventing children from experiencing the trauma of the foster care system.
