Meet the creator and editor of the popular “Fleishigs” magazine, which has been coined the "Kosher Bon Appetit", and is the only kosher publication to be sold at stores like Barnes & Nobles and Whole Foods. 

In this episode, Fleishigs founders Shifra Klein and her husband Shlomo share how they launched their business from their  Crown Heights apartment with no background or experience in publishing, and turned it into an empire with subscribers from all around the globe, achieving international recognition.

*Bubba Assia’s Veal Chops:

Ingredients:

6 veal quarter chops  

1 red, green and yellow peppers chopped in small squares

1 large onion chopped 

1/3 cup soy sauce 

1/4 cup maple syrup 

1 can tomatoe sauce 

3 cloves Garlic

Salt, pepper 

Directions:

Sprinkle garlic powder on the chops and brown them in a bit of olive oil.

Remove chops. Sauté  chopped onion and garlic in some olive oil. Add red, green & yellow peppers, salt pepper, soya sauce, maple syrup. Add bit of red wine.  

Optional - add 1 can crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce. 

Spread sauce on top of chops. 

Bake at 350 for 45 min covered, 15 min uncovered.
