For this migration-centered episode I’m joined by Maria Sobolewska, Professor of Political Science at the University of Manchester, and Sergi Pardos, Professor of Comparative Politics at the University of Glasgow. Maria tells us about her ongoing research on the voting behavior and political representation of ethnic minorities. Then, Sergi explains why labor market competition might lead to anti-immigration sentiment but in rather unexpected ways (from 43:00 onwards).
