Crisis is something that happens to us and is mostly out of our control. Usually involves loss. Can be physical, emotional, relationships, work related. Can you re-frame and as an opportunity or blessing in disguise. Was with family hunting for mushrooms in southern Indiana and my mom and I got turned around and out of communication with my father and brother [before cells phones]; Do you believe in self-reliance? Emerson's essay has many lessons;Precautionary principle says is something may be harmful, pause until there's data it's safe, looks like government and industry don't want to follow that principle which results in harms to human beings; Tao of leadership and life are ideas and thoughts with slightly different tone, but recognized in many practices.
