Ohio State improves to 6-1 with a 54-7 blowout win against the Indiana Hoosiers

In an Kent State Alum edition of the LGHL Instant Recap podcast, Jordan Williams and Justin Golba break down this massive Buckeye win.

Almost once a year it seems a team gets under Ryan Day’s skin and the next year he takes it out on them. Think Maryland last year after it was rumored they dimed out Chase Young or Michigan when they promoted the “revenge tour”. Well Indiana tried to keep Ohio State out of the Big Ten championship game last year and Day and his Buckeyes got their revenge tonight.

Behind an all time first half where Ohio State led 44-7 bolstered by three touchdowns by TreVeyon Henderson, two rushing and one receiving, and a near perfect C.J. Stroud, the Buckeyes rolled to a huge win against the Hoosiers. The much improved defense racked up five sacks and fourteen tackles for a loss.

Olave scored another touchdown and tied Devin Smith record for touchdown receptions in a career and is four touchdowns away from the all time record. The Buckeyes continue to round into form and should be a scary team for anyone in the Big Ten -and maybe Georgia- That’s a conversation for later as the Buckeyes take the countries best offense and a hungry defense into a -not as big a we thought?- showdown against Penn State in the Shoe next Saturday!
