Kayvan Mehrbakhsh, CCIM serves as Managing Director for K&M Commercial Real Estate in Herndon, Virginia, specializing in the leasing and sale of medical and government buildings and office buildings suited for high tech network operating systems in Northern Virginia. Over his 21+year career, he has closed more than $940 million in transactions. Mr. Mehrbakhsh is a market expert, continually monitoring current conditions to adequately advise and ensure fair market values of leases and property investments and sales for his clients.
Mr. Mehrbakhsh was Associate Commercial Broker of Fairfax Realty, Inc. where he served as advisor and broker to financial institutions, corporate landowners, and investors. Before that, he served as a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker Commercial.
Previously, Mr. Mehrbakhsh served as a senior project manager for MCI Telecommunications. His responsibilities included land acquisition, oversight of building design and construction, and migration of data centers throughout the United States and Europe.
Mr. Mehrbakhsh holds real estate licenses in Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, and Washington, DC. He is a member of the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors, Mid Atlantic Real Estate Marketing Association, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Realtors Land Institute, Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, and North Carolina Association of Realtors. Also, he holds the Council of Commercial Investment Member designation.
