Tatura's Bruce Gill (pictured) has long wanted to be as fossil fuel free as possible and his "new" (it's a 2018 model) Tesla takes him much closer to that goal.

The research scientist came to Tatura decades ago to work on the Goulburn Valley's then-salinity problem and he now works on broader agriculture issues.

Bruce has been pursuing the fossil-free lifestyle for a long time and the Tesla is the latest iteration of low-carbon emitting vehicles he has owned, and clearly the best.

He has travelled to Brisbane and back and was not troubled in finding places to charge the car.
