The long-awaited Apple iOS 14.5 update comes with a new privacy tool called App Tracking Transparency. This tool prompts users to opt out of tracking in apps that collect and share their data. So what does that mean for users and for companies that rely on that data? Recode’s Sara Morrison (@SaraMorrison) explains.
