In this episode: Your feelings are always your choice Evaluating the validity of a comment Refusing to accept the victim mentality Learning to create stories that serve you I can’t wait to get into the juice of this topic because I just feel like it has the potential to make a massive impact! Today we’re talking about how nobody can make you feel a certain way, without your permission. There are so many times when we can find ourselves letting someone else’s actions or words affect our own personal feelings, and that can be a big problem. Because often it’s those tiny little seemingly insignificant comments that add up over time into conditional statements, either about someone else or even ourselves. So today, I wanted to talk about three little tweaks you can make in your own personal mindset to start choosing the way you feel towards your environment & the people around you. Thank you for being here with me & I can’t wait to hear what you think girl! Quote: “If your intentions are pure and you’re confident in who you are, when someone is saying something about you that is legitimately not true, it is understandable to be frustrated… but you don’t have to choose, because yes that’s a choice, to take it to heart.” “We have a choice to commit as often as we can, to refusing the victim mentality and instead taking some damn ownership.” “We can’t punish ourselves for not being in the mindset that we want to be at, but we can acknowledge it so that we can actually do something about it.” Resources: Hey girl, have you joined our email list yet?
