“When I was growing up, my family was never really much involved in parish life other than attending Mass on Sunday and Holy Days. As kids, we attended Religious Ed – back then it was called CCD.

“As far as living out a life of faith in the context of service, I don’t recall doing much of that. Things were different back in the 60s and 70s.  It was only after I had a re-conversion to my faith in the early 1980s, did I come to the realization that service was at the heart of my baptismal call.”
