With multiple factors increasing beer drinkers’ interest in receiving their favorite beverage directly to their homes, even the most savvy brewers can misunderstand the difference between delivery and shipping. And it’s more than a semantic distinction, as delivery and shipping bring different operational and compliance considerations. This panel will discuss these differences and their implications for craft brewers engaging in direct-to-consumer delivery and/or shipping. (Hint: one channel operates through the three-tier system, the other does not, and the considerations are quite distinct!)
