Arizona State Sun Devils football was a mess last season and the quarterback play headlined everything that went south for the program. Between injuries and poor play, the Sun Devils team suffered greatly because of the inefficiencies. As we head into 2024 spring practice, the Sun Devils return former 4-star Jaden Rashada, who is seen as the future of the program, veteran Trenton Bourguet, and transfer Sam Leavitt to compete with each other. With these three set to duke it out, Arizona State Sun Devils football feels like it's in a much better spot than last year in terms of talent, returning players, upside, and more. The competition will be stiff in spring, as we begin to look at who will stand out the most as the starter, who will secure the backup job, and how the future of the position looks for the rest of the season and beyond.
