Just a few short weeks ago, the sky felt like it was falling for Arizona State Sun Devils basketball. The Sun Devils made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2018-19 but were eliminated in the first round by the TCU Horned Frogs. The loss was tough, but then proceeding to watch four players enter the NCAA Transfer Portal was even more brutal to witness. Jamiya Neal, who had really emerged down the season's final stretch, was among those who entered the Transfer Portal despite a projected starting role for the Sun Devils in 2023-24. It was a tough break considering how exciting his potential was and it was a gut punch. However, Neal has withdrawn his name from the portal and suddenly the Sun Devils basketball program looks exciting once more.
