In 1969, 23-year-old Jane Britton was a graduate student at Harvard University specializing in Archaeology. Jane was extremely bright and goal-oriented and she came from a very academic family. But, Jane was found raped and murdered in her apartment after returning to school after Christmas break.

Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the mysterious murder of Jane Britton. Jane had no known enemies and police were unable to find her killer. Police had some good evidence from the crime scene but DNA technology was many years away from coming into existence. It took almost 50 years for the authorities to match semen found to a man named Michael Sumpter. Unfortunately, Sumpter died 17 years before the match was made.
