On this episode the boys are joined by Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar. Fresh off a Stanley Cup-winning season, “Bedsy” finally reached the top of the mountain and was 100% deserving. Bednar wasn’t handed the dominant Avalanche team we’ve seen for several years now. He started his tenure with a 22-56 season and fought with this squad all the way to the Cup parade. We talk about Nathan MacKinnon’s competitive fire, coaching a guy like Nazem Kadri, his own journey of playing hockey and much more. Before the interview the boys get into some news around the league, if Matthew Tkachuk wanted to be captain in Calgary, Claude Lemieux sounding off on the Brady situation, and much more. The season is around the corner, so enjoy this conversation with last seasons cup winning coach on this edition of the Cam & Strick Podcast.
