10/09/24: Jason Heitkamp is running for ND Superintendent of the Department of Public Instruction, and is a current truck driver and former State Senator. His focus will be getting back to the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic in the schools, and reaching a higher standard of health and fitness.

He joins Joel Heitkamp on "News and Views" to talk about why he wants the job, and elaborates on his views on homeschooling, state testing, and electronics in schools.
