Jennifer Riker on acting, teaching, and “Black Lightning”

Actress, instructor and voiceover artist Jennifer Riker stops by to talk about some of her recent TV and film projects, and about the acting class she teaches at Florida State University.

She talks about bringing earnestness and truth to any character portrayal, without judging anyone or their story, and the acting class she teaches (On Camera Acting in the BFA program). Jennifer also uses her acting performances in classes to see examples of what she's teaching, and she makes sure her students are well aware about the good and the bad realities of the TV and Film industry.

Her newest projects include the feature films "Nancy Drew", and "Stuber", which feed her love of comedy, and of course the return of Dr Helga Jace to "Black Lightning" Season 3 (and we also hope she shows up sooner rather than later).
