Cariad talks to stand-up, writer, actor and podcaster Jess Fostekew (Motherland, Guilty Feminist, Hoovering) about her Nana who died when Jess was in her early twenties. Jess's Nana, Helinda was born and raised in Austria during the rise of Hitler and they talk about the complications of loving a Grandparent whilst trying to understand their past.
