Jessica Bennett is a New York Times editor at large covering politics, gender and culture. Jessica was appointed The New York Times’ first gender editor as part of an initiative to expand coverage of women and gender issues across platforms. In that role, she contributed to the coverage of #MeToo and was the editor of This Is 18, an immersive look at the lives of 18 year old girls around the world.

The Influential Women Podcast talks to Jessica about her experiences as a woman in a male dominated industry and how it affected her. Jessica tells us about how she was part of a womens group and how that supported her to overcome the adversity and didn’t let it stop her pursuing her career.

It is host presented and co-produced  by Nicki Bannerman, executively produced by Nicki Bannerman and Juliette Nicholls and produced by Saffron Mirza.
