To avoid the traps of the enemy, we need God’s Word to guide us into all truth. In this passage, “Jesus’ hour” has come, meaning judgment has come to the world and the ruler of the world will be cast out. Jesus speaks of his death as being lifted up. Pastor Lloyd explains that this is true greatness and is quite opposite the world’s definition of greatness. In spite of all the miraculous signs, we find that many do not believe, for fear of man, a bona fide trap of the enemy, even today.
