Power Rack Training Volume Seven-Multi Millionaire Eric Fiorillo The Host of the Award Winning Motivation and Muscle Streaming Radio 24/7 Welcomes John McKean to the Broadcast.“John McKean, turning a “young” 74 this December, has been competing in all aspects of the iron game for 57 years. He’s lifted in hundreds of meets, having won National titles in Master’s age Olympic style weightlifting and powerlifting, and acquired 9 World titles in IAWA (all-round) weightlifting, currently holding 335 USAWA national all-around records. As a retired Middle school math teacher, with a Masters’s degree in Guidance & Counseling, John put to good use all the writing required in college, by “self-discovery” articles published in about every available strength journal. He was quite involved with the sport during the “golden age” of power rack training in the 1960s, and has continually trained with, researched, and written about this dynamic system ever since!”

Eric and John are already up to Power Rack Volume Seven! This is such a milestone accomplishment when basically we are introducing the Power Rack to the general lifting population who have never seen or heard about one of the most useful strength tools ever invented. I call it the Four Pillers of Power! It truly is one of a kind! Today’s topic obviously revolves around how to use the Power Rack to make the biggest gains of your life which are great in itself but when you add Bands to the mix lookout because the locomotive is moving at warp speed and fast. John in his own right has been using bands for years in his programs so its no surprise he’s woven them into the Power Rack.

Band work is so useful in so many ways. The first way is it’s a bit easier on your musculature when your not constantly pushing or pulling up against another set of steel rods. Make no mistake though the Bands are just as hard but in another way. Whether your slipping a Band and locking it into your lifting belt while stepping on it with both feet as it lays on the floor or doing the X Factor as I call it above you in the Power Rack the challenge is right there to see how far you can move the bar at the dead stop position.

One of the things that I spoke about on this podcast is on more than one occasion I have literally been shot right back down to the rods because of either being out of position or the bands are a bit too heavy at this point in time to stretch. The benefit of getting shot down with the bands is I’m still getting an isometric push no matter the outcome.

Not only is Power Rack Training beneficial for everyone and with the introduction of Bands to this training anyone can benefit from bands who maybe don’t own a Power Rack and Lifting Bar. The Bands are fully explained how to use with or without the equipment and where to purchase them.

This is another display of the creativity John and I continually come up with through our experiences in the Power Rack. You can start this magnificent program right now. Any age can do the work we describe and become very successful. Would you like incredible, Strength, Power and have a sense of accomplishment every day for the rest of your life?
