Ambassadors of Hope presents Minister John McKinney as Bishop Billy Bob “The Bishop of Hollywood” as he hosts The Bishop Billy Bob T.V. Show. It is a Character where Bishop tells the truth and pimp slaps the devil.
Minister John McKinney delivers hope and healing through laughter. He takes everyday situations and creates humor out of them. During the past several years, he spent his time as a member of the Potter’s House under the leadership of Bishop T.D. Jakes and in Los Angeles under Bishop Noel Jones. Currently, he is a member of the West Angeles COGIC under the leadership of Bishop Charles E. Blake.
As Bishop Billy Bob he won “Comedian of the Year” for the Southern California Gospel Radio Announcers Guild. Minister John has shared the stage with Beverly Crawford, Bobby Jones, John P. Kee, The Clark Sisters, Kirk Franklin just to name a few. Minister John McKinney has appeared on Fox NFL Sports Show in a comedic spoof as Kevin Ubanks opposite Frank Caliendo.
