Adam continued our Joseph series, looking at Genesis 43-44, Testing and Forgiving.

Joseph’s response to his brothers is remarkable. He tests their hearts, but he does not let bitterness or anger rule him. Forgiveness is slow, wise, and healing, and Joseph shows us what it means to live it out well. Forgiveness doesn’t mean rushing in blindly. Joseph shows us that forgiveness can be both discerning and gracious, refusing to let bitterness rule his future. Forgiveness and Reconciliation are not the same!
