Today, up to 43% of Australian children suffer from chronic illnesses. While the government seems to be at a loss to explain why our kids seem to be getting sicker, Judy Wilyman's research points to a singular culprit: vaccines. We speak with Judy about her PhD which explores the role that vaccines play in controlling infectious diseases. An important early note, throughout the episode, Judy emphasises that she's not against vaccines. Instead, her research has led her to be sceptical about the number of vaccines that are injected into kids. We talk about her journey from being a science teacher to studying her PhD. Judy opens up about how the mainstream media has misrepresented her work and has tried to assassinate her character.

This leads to a bigger conversation about how the debate around vaccines has been censored. We then discuss how most vaccine funding and research is influenced by the pharmaceutical industry and international organisations like the WHO. We dive into the side-effects of vaccines which can range from autism to neurological disorders. Judy reveals how the government neglects epigenetics and the precautionary principle; a foundational element of scientific research. We talk about how mandatory vaccination affects your right to choose what goes into your body, and how exercising your right is penalised under the Australian governments No Jab, No Pay policy. Near the end of the episode, Judy offers solutions to the problem and urges doctors to speak up on the issue. Listen to this episode to hear more on Judy's research.
