Just three hits for the Chicago White Sox as the lose to the Guardians 3-0 and fall to (19-30). After a fun weekend of baseball that saw the Sox get their first sweep of the season, the South Siders turned in a lifeless effort against the Cleveland Guardians. Hunter Gaddis fooled the White Sox or the Sox fooled themselves... either way, Cleveland capitalized on a wild pitch that really should have been a passed ball. Mike Zunino broke out of a 1-for-31 month of May and hit a two run home run off reliver Gregory Santos. White Sox had to use Jimmy Lambert as an opener then went with Jesse Scholtens. Both were more then serviceable as they replaced injured Mike Clevinger in the rotation. Sox offense did not show up. Dylan Cease is on the mound for the White Sox on Tuesday.
