On Orphan Sunday, we are reminded of our profound responsibility to care for the fatherless. The Bible commands us to show kindness and mercy, emphasizing that true worship involves justice for the vulnerable. Recognizing our own spiritual fatherlessness, we see how Jesus took our place to adopt us into God's family. Inspired by King David's kindness to Mephibosheth, we are called to actively support orphans through prayer, support, and direct action.
