Just know that you're not alone, and that the church's goal is look more like Jesus every day, bringing the kingdom of Heaven to earth, but we don't always get it right. Don't let a person who has hurt you determine who you think Jesus is, get to know Him for yourself! The church should be a place where people come to find Jesus, forgiveness, healing, and hope. Don't give up on getting plugged into a Christian community, because we need one another.
