What is ktape? Who is Ktape for? How do you use ktape? Where do you put the tape? In this episode John gives a brief history of Ktape  and some principles to help you in practice. We give some explicit examples and steps to taping techniques for the cervical spine, shoulders, thoracic spine, low back and hips. All of which have essentially two goals: to encourage a certain movement or to limit a damaging movement pattern. Once we have this principle established we can  use the tape over any area of the body and incorporate the taping within the umbrella of our treatment plan and not as a stand alone treatment in itself. Kinesiology tape is NOT a treatment. It can be a part of helping achieve a certain goal and realizing this key distinction will make your ktape interventions that much more effective. ENJOY!
