We dive back into peak performance with Kris Goodman, Tampa Bay Rays minor league mental performance coach. Goodman had a phenomenal career at the University of Iowa and was drafted in the 32nd round of the 2015 draft by the Miami Marlins. After Goodman's playing career was finished he got into college coaching and received his Master of Sports Psychology degree at Minnesota State. This is a deep dive into peak performance and player development. Goodman works with the Rays minor leaguers. He is on the ground floor of trying to help players achieve their goal of playing in the Major Leagues. This is a deep dive into his time growing up as a multi-sport athlete, the role his parents had on his development, the recruiting process, his views on player development and what he is using with his players to help with peak performance in the Rays organization.
