Second Chance at Love

Diana and Simon were so happy in marriage when they first married. They started having problems because they both wanted control. Diana would act up every time Simon tried to tell her what to do. She got the name Lady Escape because of her stunts.He even accused her of an affair with his twin brother. It will be a lot of ups and downs to get to a HEA with those two.The book also has a villain seeking an hidden inheritance .Simon's brother would find love but not with Diana.

A Rollercoaster Ride

I read this on KU. I wasn't sure about this one to start off with because I generally dislike female characters who are too feisty. The main characters had married for love but after a few weeks of marriage, their fighting was overshadowing their relationship. The H wanted the h to follow his every command and the h rebelled at every command. The book starts as the h runs off to her brother's home after yet another altercation with her husband. The H comes to get her and he takes her to the family home. We get to see glimpses of their attraction but the h just can't stay put. I tell you that with each new thing the h got up to, I was even afraid of the H's reaction. I loved the way the author put everything in perspective at the close of the story.

Amusing

Another fabulous book by Amanda Scott. This is a marriage tale but not one of convenience. This couple was very much in infatuation with one another before their vows and then very shortly afterwards promptly fell almost out of love. This is the story of their journey back toward one another and it is a fascinating study of two indomitable wills colliding and attempting to come out on top. There is a small secondary romance and quite a bit of action. The setting is lush and peopled with several familiar faces. The historical details are deftly handled and the plot moves along at a brisk pace. A wonderfully written Regency. Very very highly recommended for all Regency Romance lovers.
