Las Vegas nonprofits step up as SNAP delays begin; emergency food boxes available for families

In response to the federal shutdown delay, local organizations in southern Nevada are stepping up to ensure families don't go hungry. The After Market provided meals for kids on Halloween, while Vegas Helps is launching a large-scale emergency food distribution. Starting Monday, they'll hand out over twenty thousand dollars worth of food boxes, including pantry staples and fresh produce. With over two hundred families already registered, the community is rallying together to support those in need during this uncertain time.
