About Arturo Senteno

Arturo Senteno currently serves as the associate principal for instruction at Elk Grove High School in District 214. Prior to that, he served in numerous other roles at the district, including associate principal of student services/operations at Rolling Meadows High School, dean of students, biology teacher, and head varsity water polo coach. Senteno has served as a Captain in the Illinois Army National Guard as a medical specialist and did a tour of duty in Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Senteno earned a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching from Monmouth College, Master of Arts in Teaching from Aurora University and an Educational Administration Superintendent’s Endorsement (Ed.S) from Northern Illinois University where he also expects to earn his Educational Doctorate in December of 2022.
