Welcome to part 2 of our conversation with Anita Varshney.
What does “leading with purpose” mean to you? Has your organization charted a plan to meet Global Goals yet? Or do you have a strategy in place for meeting the ambitious SDG targets set by your leaders? Do you have the right culture, mindset and teams which can effectively steer businesses towards driving sustainable change?
..well questions are many, and asking the difficult questions is a good start; having said that, taking the 1st step towards ACTION, COLLABORATION, EXECUTION, PARTNERSHIP are equally important to becoming a socially responsible business.
In my view, the role of business enterprises in driving climate action is crucial because businesses touch the lives of the majority population be it their consumers or through employment. SAP is one such example where its purpose is to “help the world run better and improve people's lives” by empowering their customers to create a better economy, society, and environment for the world.
This week on Circular Business Podcast-India, we have with us Anita Varshney- Global Vice President, Strategy SAP S/4HANA Sustainability. She is working on SAP’s strategy on Sustainability Management across their product portfolio, working closely with experts, and industry leaders. She is driving collaboration with SAP’s partners and wider ecosystem, accelerating innovation and delivering customer success on their sustainability ambitions.
Her passion for sustainable change, transformation, and systems thinking is awe inspiring and equally contagious. So go ahead, hit play and tune in to our conversation with Anita.
P.S : We have split the conversation into a two part episode because we want all our listeners to stay glued till the end ;) . So do remember to listen to both Part 1 & Part 2 of this conversation.
Lastly, this episode has been curated in collaboration with my fabulous co-host & fellow environment crusader Prerana Tirodkar who has recently launched “The Green Gen Podcast” .
If any of our content has given you a EUREKA moment! Then why keep it to yourself?
